How to post Amazon and AliExpress deals to your Telegram channel
To get started, you need a Telegram channel, a bot to post the messages, and an Amazon Associates or AliExpress account. How it works is simple: the store pays you a commission on every purchase made through links with your tag. Codingram handles the tedious work: it reads the product page, adds your tag, and leaves the deal formatted in your channel.

You can follow the steps in order or jump straight to step 3 if your channel and bot are already set up.
1. Create your Telegram channel
Only admins can post in a Telegram channel. Subscribers can read the posts but cannot write, so your deals do not get lost among other users' messages.
- In the Telegram app, tap the new message icon (on desktop, open the side menu) and choose New Channel.
- Give it a name, a description, and a profile photo.
- Set it to public and choose its username. Its address will be
t.me/your_channeland anyone will be able to find it in Telegram search. - If Telegram suggests inviting your contacts, you can skip that step and start sharing the link once you have your first deals posted.
A channel focused on a specific topic, such as tech or home products, usually works better and is easier to recommend than a general one.
With Codingram, you create the channel in Telegram as usual and the app links it as soon as you paste its link into the assistant on Home. For the full walkthrough, see First steps.
2. Create a bot and make it a channel admin
If you always post by hand from your phone, you do not need a bot: you can post directly with your admin permissions. You only need a bot when you want to schedule deals in a queue or post from a tool like Codingram.
- In Telegram, search for the official @BotFather bot (with the blue verification badge) and send it the
/newbotcommand. - Choose a display name and a username ending in "bot", such as
yourchannel_deals_bot. - Copy the token it returns (a string like
1234567890:ABCdef…). It works like a password: anyone who has it can post with your bot. - In your channel settings, open Administrators, tap Add Administrator, find your bot by its username, and keep the Post Messages permission on.
With Codingram, you paste the token just once in the assistant on Home and that same bot works for all your channels. You can also use it as a control panel from your phone: send it a product link and it returns the deal ready to post. See the step-by-step guide in First steps and Telegram bot.
3. Sign up for Amazon Associates and AliExpress
Affiliate programs give you a code (the tag) to include in your links. When someone clicks through and buys, the store credits the sale to your affiliate account and pays you a commission based on the product category.
Amazon Associates
- Go to Amazon Associates with your Amazon account and complete the registration. If your audience is in the UK, head to affiliate-program.amazon.co.uk.
- In the list of websites and apps, enter your channel's address (
https://t.me/your_channel): Amazon needs to know where you will post its links. - Once the process is complete you will get your tag (on Amazon.com it ends in
-20, such asyourchannel-20; on Amazon.co.uk it ends in-21).
Amazon reviews your application once you make your first three sales. If you do not reach that number within 180 days, they close the account, though you can apply again later.
To get a product link by hand, open the product page while signed in to your Associates account and click Amazon's SiteStripe bar at the top. You can also add ?tag=yourchannel-20 to the end of the clean product URL, deleting everything after the ?.
AliExpress
- Go to AliExpress Portals and sign up as an affiliate.
- Your code on this platform is the tracking ID (Tracking ID). The first one generated by default is called
default. - From the portal itself you can generate the affiliate link for any product.
With Codingram, you save your Amazon tag and your AliExpress ID just once, and every deal goes out with them automatically. For Amazon, the tag is enough, even if your account is new and you do not have access to its API yet: in that case, each Amazon product page you extract uses credits. The AliExpress ID is saved along with its API credentials. You can use another rule to do the same for any store with an affiliate program. For more details, see Stores and affiliation.
4. Prepare each deal
A clear, direct deal only needs the basics: the product photo, a short title, the current price, the previous price with the discount percentage, and the link with your tag.
Doing this by hand, deal by deal, takes a lot of time: trimming the title on your phone, saving the image, calculating the discount, building the URL with your tag, and formatting the message in Telegram while switching between apps. Before posting, check the price on the product page: it changes often, and on Amazon you must state when you checked it, as explained in Amazon and AliExpress rules.
With Codingram, you just paste the link into Create offer and tap Extract data: the app downloads the title, photo, and clean prices, calculates the discount, and inserts your tag into the URL. The text is formatted with your channel's template, and you see an exact preview before sending. It works with any store that has a public product page (each extraction uses credits, except on Amazon and AliExpress with your own credentials). For detailed steps, see Create offer.
5. Post it to the channel
If you post by hand from Telegram, you attach the photo, paste the text as a caption with the link included, and send the message. Here is what a deal looks like in the channel:
- The product photo.
- A short title, so it reads at a glance.
- The current price, the previous one, and the discount.
- The link with your tag.
With Codingram, you just tap Publish and the message goes out to your channel (or to several at once with Send to several channels, depending on your plan). On your phone, you can work from the web version installed on your home screen, share links straight to Codingram from your Android browser, or message them to your bot. For details, see Create offer and Install the app.
6. Schedule and automate upcoming deals
Dropping ten deals at once and leaving the channel silent for hours often makes people mute notifications or unsubscribe. It is best to space your posts out across the day.
In Telegram, you can schedule messages by holding down the send button and choosing Schedule Message. That works in a pinch for two or three deals, but preparing a whole day by hand takes too long.
With Codingram (available from the Solo plan), you send deals to the Queue and the platform posts them at the pace you choose, respecting your quiet hours. If your plan includes automatic publishing, the system also scans Amazon and AliExpress for deals based on the keywords and the price, discount, or rating filters you set. As soon as the queue empties, it posts the next deal that meets your criteria. See how it works in Publication queue and Automatic publishing.
By hand, with your own bot or with a tool
You have several options for running a deals channel, depending on your budget and the time you want to spend on it:
Running the channel by hand costs nothing and only requires Telegram, but it takes up a lot of time: you have to copy data, trim text, calculate discounts, and format every deal on your phone. In a rush, it is also easy for a link to go out without your tag, costing you commissions.
Setting up your own bot on your server gives you technical independence, and there are open-source projects to start from. However, you need to know how to code, pay for monthly hosting, and fix the code every time a store changes the structure of its pages.
Using a tool like Codingram takes repetitive work off your hands and keeps the extractors up to date. There is a free plan to start posting, plus monthly subscriptions if you need scheduled queues or automatic publishing.
Amazon and AliExpress rules
Both programs have strict requirements for anyone sharing their links. Breaking these rules can lead to the permanent closure of your affiliate account.
On Amazon:
- Declare your channel: add it to your Associates profile as one of the sites or channels where you post content.
- Identify yourself as an affiliate: include Amazon's mandatory statement in a visible place ("As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases."). It is best to put it in the channel description and in the footer of every deal to avoid problems.
- State the date and time of the price: if you show the product's price, add the exact moment you checked it along with the disclaimer that price and availability may change.
- Do not modify the images: you may only scale official photos while keeping their proportions.
- Do not hide the links: do not use shorteners that conceal the Amazon domain, and never send links by private message, email, or SMS to users who have not expressly asked for them.
On AliExpress, do not post prices or discounts that do not match reality, do not alter content without permission, and follow the rules against sending unsolicited commercial messages.
Affiliate terms can change over time, so we recommend always checking the official documentation: the Amazon Associates Program Policies, License and Operating Agreement, as well as the AliExpress Affiliate Program Agreement.
This is not legal advice
This is a summary of the rules as they stood when this guide was reviewed, so you know what to look out for. If you have questions about your specific case, consult a professional.
With Codingram, every new channel posts Amazon deals with the mandatory affiliate statement, the price timestamp, and the notice that prices may change. In the Image template editor, you can also choose to have Amazon deals go out with the original image untouched, even if you apply graphic templates to every other store. For more details, see Template editor and Image template editor.
What is Codingram
Codingram is a web app designed to post deals to Telegram channels simply by pasting the product link. It automates the most repetitive tasks of every post:
- It prepares the deal from any store link with a public product page: it extracts the title, photo, prices, and discount percentage.
- It automatically inserts your Amazon tag, your AliExpress ID, or the code for any other affiliate platform.
- It applies your channel's visual identity through message templates and, from the Solo plan, generates images with your design and the prices overlaid.
- It makes posting from your phone simple: through the web, by sharing links from the browser on Android, or by sending them in a message to your bot.
- It lines up the next posts in the queue and, depending on your plan, finds and posts deals fully on its own.
The free plan requires no credit card: it lets you post by hand to one channel with the product's original photo, and extracting data from Amazon and AliExpress with your own credentials does not use credits. You can sign in with your Google or Telegram account. The breakdown of each option is in Plans and pricing.
Frequently asked questions
Can you make money with a Telegram channel?
Yes. Affiliate marketing is a common option: you post deals with your links and the store pays you a commission on every sale made through them. Your earnings depend on your channel's audience, how much your subscribers buy, and the rates Amazon or AliExpress set for each product category.
Does Amazon allow affiliate links on Telegram?
Amazon's rules do not mention Telegram specifically, but their requirements apply to a channel all the same: you must declare it in your Associates account, identify yourself visibly as an affiliate, and show when you checked the price. What they expressly prohibit is sending links by private message without consent and hiding the URL behind a shortener. There is a summary in Amazon and AliExpress rules.
What is my affiliate link?
It is the direct link to the product with your code built in. On Amazon.com, your tag (the code ending in -20) goes inside the tag parameter of the address. On AliExpress, the portal generates a specific URL with your tracking ID. If you use Codingram, the app builds the link with your tag automatically on every deal.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. To post by hand you only need Telegram, and with Codingram you just paste links. Coding is only needed if you prefer to build and maintain your own bot yourself.
Do I need a bot to post in my channel?
If you post everything by hand from your phone or computer, you don't need one. You only need one as soon as an external tool or service is involved: Telegram requires any automated system to post through a bot set up as a channel admin.
How much does Codingram cost?
There is a free plan that requires no credit card, designed for formatting and posting by hand to one channel. The scheduled queue, custom image templates, posting to multiple channels, and full automation are part of the paid plans. You can find all the prices in Plans and pricing.
