The index and the sections
On entering you see an index of tiles, one per section, split into three groups:
| Group | Sections |
|---|---|
| Publishing | Telegram and Channels, in Channels, and Message. |
| Stores and affiliation | Amazon, AliExpress and Affiliates, in Stores and affiliation. |
| Organization and account | Organization, in Collaborators and permissions; Region; Subscription, in Subscription and credits; and My account, in Access and account. |
At the end, the Legal group gathers the legal notice, the terms of contract, the privacy policy and the refund policy.
- The groups: Publishing, Stores and affiliation and Organization and account.
- One card per section, with how it is doing in one line; the icon takes the colour of that same answer.
- Legal: each text opens in a new tab.
Each tile says in one line how that section is — “Bot connected”, “Credentials stored”, “Not set up”, “3 channels”, “Credentials rejected”, “2 inactive rules” — and the icon is coloured with that same answer: blue when it works, amber when something needs a look, red when something is broken (the service rejects the credentials, a channel cannot publish) and grey when it is not set up.
The index lists only the sections you can reach according to your level in the organization; what each level sees is covered in Collaborators and permissions.
Each section brings, on the right —below, on a narrow screen—, a help column with what you need to fill it in.
Saving and unsaved changes
Changes are saved with the Save button in the header, which stays disabled until you modify something. As soon as anything is pending:
- the button lights up;
- the card you touched swaps its status label for Unsaved;
- if you try to leave the page — through the menu, a selector or the back arrow — you are asked before losing what you wrote, and the question names the card you were about to lose.
If you undo a change, or if somebody else saves at the same time
If you undo the change by hand, the button switches itself off.
If somebody else in the organization has saved that section while you had it open, your save is rejected and asks you to reload, so that their changes are not overwritten. In Region and in the order of the channels, on the other hand, the last to save wins.
Checking the connection
The sections that store credentials — Telegram, Amazon and AliExpress — carry a Test connection button in the header, next to Save, as soon as they hold any. It asks the service and returns one of these answers, at the foot of the card, with the date of the last check.
The check is also launched by itself on saving. A failure when publishing counts too. If Telegram rejects the token or does not answer when publishing, the Telegram section is marked by itself, and the next publication that goes out fine turns it back to The connection works. Amazon and AliExpress are only checked when you save or with Test connection.
| Answer | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| The connection works. | The credentials are valid and the service answers. | Nothing. |
| The service rejected the credentials. | The identifier or the secret is not correct. | Review them where you generated them. |
| The credentials are right, but one of the details is not. | The account gets in, but something in the form is not valid: an affiliate tag, a region, a channel. The sentence says which. | Correct that field, not the credentials. |
| The credentials are right and the account has not been granted access yet. | Typical of a newly registered Amazon account. | Nothing to correct: test again later. |
| It could not be checked: the service is not answering or returned an error we do not recognize. | An outage or a passing cut. | Try again later. If you had just saved, what you typed was saved anyway. |
While the section has unsaved changes, the button is disabled: save first —saving already checks— or undo the change.
Fine print: the words on the card and the tile
The card header carries the same verdict in two words — Connected, Not checked, Not set up, No answer, One detail is wrong, No access yet, Not connecting or Off — and the index tile sums it up too: “Bot connected”, “Credentials stored”, “Credentials rejected”, “One detail is wrong”, “No access yet”, “The service is not answering”.
Changing or withdrawing credentials
Secrets do not come back to the browser
Once stored, the secret fields — the token, Amazon's Credential ID and Credential Secret, AliExpress's App Key and App Secret — are shown empty, with a row of grey dots and the notice “A credential is stored. Type a new one to replace it.”. If you leave one blank when saving, the one that was there is kept; to change it, type the new one; to remove it, use Withdraw the credentials.
As long as something is stored, at the end of the section there is a red card, Withdraw the credentials. It deletes what is stored from the server and leaves the section as on the first day. You are asked for confirmation, and the question says what goes with it:
- Telegram: the token. The application stops publishing in all the channels until you save another.
- Amazon: the identifier, the secret key and the affiliate tag. Its pages start being read from the web, spending credits, and product search stops working.
- AliExpress: the key, the secret and the tracking identifier. Its pages are still read, but they spend credits, and product search stops working.
On both stores, your Affiliates rules keep applying: with them the link still carries your code. If you only want to stop using a store for a while, better turn it off: the credentials stay stored. Turning a store off without deleting its credentials explains it.
Message
Manages the preset texts that Create offer offers under each field's Presets button. Three cards:
- Headers: one-line texts, up to 50 characters, for the start of the message.
- Message footers: texts of up to 250 characters, over several lines if you want, for the end.
- Header and footer per channel: the default of each channel —the one Create offer sets by itself when it opens with that channel active—, in one block per channel with a dropdown for the header and another for the footer (No header, No footer). Only the channels you reach are listed.
| Action | How to do it |
|---|---|
| Add | Press Add in the card header. |
| Edit | Type directly in each text's field. Beside it, it says how many characters you have left, in amber when little is left. |
| Reorder | Drag each row's handle: the order of the list is the order of the Create offer dropdown, so put the ones you use most at the top. |
| Delete | Press next to the text. If it is the default of some channel, it tells you first: that channel will publish without that part of the message. |
Empty rows are discarded on saving, and there is no limit on the number of texts.
The lists belong to the organization and are shared by all your channels.
Region and time zone
These two settings belong to the organization, not to whoever is looking at them: they decide how its prices and its times are written for everybody who works in it, and what its audience sees in the channel. The owner and any manager can change them.
- Region decides the currency, the symbol and where it goes, the thousands and decimal separators, and the order of the date. It applies on the screens, in the generated image and in the published message.
- Time zone is the one used for the queue's resting hours and for every date that appears on screen. The list opens with a search box on top: type “madrid” and you get “Europe/Madrid”. It follows the summer and winter clock changes by itself: the times you configure keep meaning the same.
The time zone fills itself in with the one of the first browser that opens the application and then does not move, even if you travel: to change it, save it here. While it has not been filled in, the index tile says “Time zone not confirmed”.
If a store gives you prices in a currency different from the one the region declares, this screen warns you — both for the currency you ask AliExpress for and for the one charged in the country of your Amazon store. It does not prevent saving, but as long as they do not match, the symbol shown will not be that of the currency that arrives.
The language is not here: it belongs to each person, and it is covered in Access and account.
The region also decides which country product pages are read from for stores without their own integration, and for Amazon when you have it switched off or without credentials: Stores and affiliation explains it.
